YACHT REGISTRATION IN ST. VINCENT AND THE GRENADINES

Saint Vincent and the Grenadines are an idyllic chain of islands scattered down the Eastern Caribbean from Saint Vincent in the north to Grenada in the south, approximately 1,600 miles southeast of Miami and were discovered by Columbus in 1498. This is truly a yachtsman’s paradise and it is no surprise that yacht registration procedures are quick and simple.

Saint Vincent and the Grenadines is a multi-island state and a full member of the British Commonwealth, the United Nations, the Organisation of American States, the International Labour Organisation, Caricom, and the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States. The main city and financial centre, Kingstown, is situated on Saint Vincent Island. English is the official language and Queen Elizabeth II is the Head of State represented by the Governor General, Sir Frederick Ballantyne.

Saint Vincent has in place a body of laws that not only reflect the best elements of modern yacht ownership legislation, but also accept the reality of today's information technology and a competitive climate for yacht registration. As befits a maritime nation with a rich sea faring tradition, registration of a yacht is efficient with most registrations taking just two working days.

We offer you the opportunity to register yachts under the flag of St. Vincent and the Grenadines. Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, a member of the IMO since 1980, is also a member of the Baltic Exchange and ranks among the top 20 leading fleets of the world by flag registration.
